Robert Stone is Assistant Professor of Humanities in the Hamilton School of the University of Florida. He previously taught in the Strategy & Policy department of the U.S. Naval War College. His research focuses on Thucydides’ account of the Peloponnesian War for insights into strategic culture and democratic decision making. His writings have appeared or are forthcoming in journals including History of Political Thought, Journal of the History of Ideas, and the Texas National Security Review.
